Clearance: Secret clearance required to start, TS/SCI with Poly preferred
Location/Flexibility: Chantilly, VA
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive a development team to tactically and strategically meet the customer’s mission application needs
- Advancing the team’s development through effective Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives
- Controlling the scrum board: ticket creation, grooming, management, and assignment; defining and managing sprint points and scope; documenting ticket description and acceptance criteria; ensuring that ticket status and comments are current
- Ensuring systems being developed comply with the enterprise technical architecture
- Leveraging the candidate’s excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to provide timely and clear program updates to customer leadership and program documentation
REQUIREMENTS
- Clearance: Secret clearance required to start, TS/SCI with Poly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 – 11 years of relevant experience or 11 – 14 years of relevant experience and a HS diploma
- Experience leading an Agile Scrum team
- Extensive experience with Agile techniques and practices
- Ability to influence customers, stakeholders, and teams without direct authority
- Expert experience in Jira and Confluence
- Working knowledge and practice of project management concepts and principles
- Familiarity across a variety of technical disciplines to include web application development, cloud solutions, and IT security
- Demonstrated leadership qualities through prior experience working with senior management to find solutions for customers and leading teams creating training curricula and/or certifications
- Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
- Ability to understand and explain business impacts of technical direction of the team in application and software development; DevSecOps; automation testing
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
