Award recognizes CEO’s vision and leadership in the GovCon industry
The Greater Washington Government Contractor (GovCon) Awards™ named NT Concepts’ Founder and CEO, Michele Bolos, as their 2016 Executive of the Year. Bolos was chosen amongst five executive finalists from companies with revenues between $75 and $300 million.
Presented annually by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and Professional Services Council (PSC), the awards honor the leadership, innovation, and commitment to the excellence of the individuals and businesses in the region’s government contracting sector. This award recognizes her outstanding contributions to the company, community, and the government contracting industry.
During her award acceptance, Bolos attributed her success to the hard work and dedication of her employees, from C-level to clerical, who support customer missions focused on critical national security programs.
"[NT Concepts'] success in 2015 came from our employees and our Government customers taking off their respective hats, rolling up their sleeves, and working together to accomplish a task that seemed impossible," said Bolos. "I share this [award] with my fellow nominees and the entire staff at NT Concepts."
Chris Cusano, EVP at NT Concepts, comments: "Working closely with Michele since 2004, I have been privileged to witness her growth as an executive, and have learned a great deal about leadership from her. Her unpretentious yet direct style works, as shown by the success of NT Concepts. Michele's steadfast dedication in holding NT Concepts true to three core priorities—our customers, our employees, and our community—makes her genuinely deserving of this special recognition."
